Insulated double-wing garage doors are characterized by their excellent sealing ability. The high security of double-coated insulated door panels makes these doors ideal for garages that are not only used for vehicles and help maintain a consistent internal temperature.
A garage used as an office, workshop, relaxation space, gym, or simply for storing excess household items for which there is no room in the house will be more comfortable with insulated double-wing doors. Double-wing garage doors seal well throughout their entire perimeter, preventing dust, leaves, mice, or rain from entering the garage.
Furthermore, insulated double-wing garage doors offer customization up to a maximum width x height = 250 cm and a wide range of colors and finishes.
Why insulation?
There are three simple reasons to choose insulated double-wing garage doors:
-
- Greater panel strength for enhanced security.
- Excellent thermal insulation properties.
- To break the thermal bridge, thereby preventing condensation on the interior of the garage doors.
None of the insulated double-wing garage doors supplied by KIP KOP d.o.o. contain CFC; they are filled with polyurethane foam, and the structural panel is made of galvanized steel with double coating.
The 40 mm thick filling structure offers exceptional strength and reduces damage caused by collisions and impacts.
Properly installed insulated double-wing garage doors offer an incredibly high U value rating = 0.50W/m2 C and reduce heating costs in adjacent rooms, such as storage areas, throughout the year, maintaining a consistently suitable temperature in the garage. This is ideal for storing valuable collector's vehicles or other valuable items that could be damaged in humid conditions. Additional equipment is available upon request to further enhance insulation properties (additional overhead seals, brush seals, bottom seals...).
